About the Workshop

Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) is organizing a Workshop on “Ion Beams in Optoelectronic Materials and Sensor Applications”. Sensors are all around us and we use them in our daily life in some way or the other. Ion beams can play a vital role in engineering the properties of Optoelectronic devices and in enhancing the sensing properties of Gas Sensors, Bio-Sensors, Pesticide & Urea Sensors and Optical Sensors etc. The speakers of the workshop will be from reputed Indian and foreign laboratories and institutes. Workshop will he helpful to research scholars, young faculty members and researchers of various Institutes / Universities who are working in similar advanced fields of Optoelectronic devices and Sensor applications to get familiarized with the processes which can be useful in enhancing such properties using ion beams.
