About the School

IUAC, New Delhi is organizing a School on Data Acquisition and ROOT based analysis in offline mode. The objective of this school is to train young researchers in data acquisition electronics and ROOT based data analysis techniques. Primary audience for the school would be students pursuing their research in experimental Nuclear or Atomic Physics. In the school, lectures/ presentations by different speakers will cover Signal Processing fundamentals, CAMAC and VME based Data Acquisition systems, basics of ROOT (CERN) based Analysis Techniques for Nuclear Reaction and Structure studies. School would includes lab visits to provide practical training on data acquisition systems in various facilities of IUAC.
