About the Workshop
Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), an autonomous Centre of University Grants Commission under Ministry of Education, plans to conduct a “Workshop on Physics with Trapped Charged Particle (WPTCP 2022)" on 27th and 28th October, 2022. The Workshop on Physics with Trapped Charged Particle (WPTCP 2022) will focus on the development of ion traps as a tool for the study of fundamental physics, precision spectroscopy, quantum information, quantum electrodynamics, and antimatter. The workshop aims at bringing together experimentalists and theoreticians to focus on the studies of trapped highly charged ions and harnessing their quantum dynamics which is enormously important to future development in fundamental physics.
